ONCE A CLASSIC ALWAYS A CLASSIC

The Cab Calloway Legacy & Centennial Project '08

THE GOD FATHER OF RAP

CELEBRITY LETTER OF INTENT

December 25th, 2007 is the one hundred year anniversary of Cab Callaway's birth and I invite you to join me by participating in his Legacy and Centennial designed to portray all aspects of his genius. We are in the process of producing and promoting a plethora of Calloway related projects, including a compilation CD and DVD project entitled;

RAP WITH CAB (THE HI DE HO CAT) GOD FATHER OF RAP.

We invite you to record one of Cabs songs and/or original rap or poetry version of your choice, rapping about Cab, also, partake in an interview for a documentary series intended to be aired on television network channels. A Cab Calloway documentary series is drawing great interest from major TV network channels (History, A&E, Biography, Discovery), working in conjunction with world renowned film historian Lou Reda The most recent documentary produced by Lou Reda aired this October 2007 on History Channel, entitled; Hippies, please visit (www.redafilms.com ).

They have all expressed an interest in the untold story based on the legacy, life and times of Cab Calloway., in which will be directed by the daughters of Cab Calloway and associates. There are also many, many fans of Cab Calloway all around the world (www.thehidehoblog.com) and there is a need to publicize the Calloway Centennial Project to them. (After all, he was one of the greatest showmen of the twentieth century) and with taste. We're promoting this rap series as a part of our "Yesterday Meets Today" project in the works.

This rap, spoken word and poetry project will be classy not dirty. The purpose is to help us in supporting the preservation of his legacy and celebrate 100 years of Cab Calloway with his three daughters, Cecelia Lael Calloway, Chris Calloway and Cabella Calloway Langsam. Your signature of intent would enable us to seek major sponsorship from corporate industries, entrepreneurs, the private sector, philanthropist, etc. This is not any form of contractual commitment, just a means of displaying your interest to participate, enabling potential sponsors to attain some type verification of your potential involvement. Under the direction of Michael Blum, we have an extensive promotional marketing and multi-media network association, www.emgpromotions.com.

We would certainly like your consent/endorsement as a celebrity rap or poet (recording artist) and/or supporter of this great plan, to produce and promote an exclusive CD and DVD compilation and Hip Hop documentary, based on the musical life of Cab Calloway, as the God Father of Rap.

During the 1930''s and 40's Cab made special efforts to communicate in the language of Black culture, as witnessed by his Dictionary of Jive and the Hep Cat. His legacy will continue to present his rhythms, his comedy, his characters and words such as Minnie the Moocher, but in a manner which is entertaining to today's Rap and Hip Hop audiences. He carefully planned fast-paced performances and films with a series of visual and audio effects; he also used many styles of entertainment together such as dance, comedy, and song.

Calloway always related to his audience very closely as can be seen in his famous call-and-response, Hi De Ho. We are very grateful to have you join us with other celebrities in this Calloway adventure, and sincerely hope you are with us to tell this untold Hip Hop story, as a part of his (Cab Calloway) story. We call "Yesterday Meets Today". Hip Hop meets The Hep Cat of all time.

All technical and legal details will be discussed before any contractual agreements are made with you. Below is a short form to sign if you care to endorse and participate in this project. For further discussion and/or information, please don't hesitate to call Cecelia Lael Calloway at 914-493-0000 or Michael Mills 914-493-0002

Sincerely,

Michael Mills, Producer/Music Director
